About Me

Miles Smallhorne is a writer, creative thinker, and proud native of Queens, New York. Raised in a close-knit and supportive family, Miles grew up surrounded by love, encouragement, and a strong belief in the power of education. That foundation helped shape a lifelong commitment to learning and personal growth. Throughout his academic career, from elementary school through college, Miles maintained a 90-average, a reflection of both his discipline and curiosity. He went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and later achieved a Master’s in Management Information Systems from SUNY Buffalo, balancing the worlds of analytical thinking and strategic planning.

But while his professional training lies in business and technology, Miles has always been drawn to storytelling. A lover of books, games, and worlds that blur the line between the ordinary and the extraordinary, he found his voice as an author by writing stories that combine the best of fantasy and science fiction. His work is inspired by a desire to escape the predictable and dive into the unknown, to imagine realities where the rules are bent, power comes with a price, and characters are forced to grow in the face of chaos.

His debut novel, Days of Randomness, is a vibrant, genre-blending adventure that reflects his unique take on worldbuilding, character-driven storytelling, and sharp, unexpected humor. It’s the first of many stories Miles plans to share, each one a reflection of his creativity, his background, and his desire to build something truly original. Whether he’s writing about superpowered teens, strange new systems of energy, or worlds just left of reality, Miles is committed to creating fiction that entertains, challenges, and leaves readers wanting more.
